This activity card is for a key stage 4 group. Dependant on the group I would ask them to work through each tactic and work together so that all members of the group can achieve the outcomes of the task. This would work well utilising the cooperative learning model with the teacher taking a step back to just observe the group. Its a great actvity card to push those older kids on and get them to use tactics within the game of rugby. So often we focus on how to perform the skill rather than how to apply that skill within situations.

Very tactic specifc practices for the novice teacher/coach
This cooperative learning resource I made during a teaching placement at university. Co operative learning is a teaching
strategy where small groups work together to achieve a common goal. The approach
gives authority to the pupils and puts emphasis on the pupils giving
feedback to each other to aid achievement.
The major
benefit of co operative learning is when pupils teach each other they begin to
understand the material better and retention is more likely to occur. In this model feedbcak needs to be recieved and agreed. This is part of the model which looks at both pupils working together to achieve the outcomes.
